We have organised a cultural journey to Busseto (Parma) on August 31, 2014, for the award ceremony dedicated to the Maestro Zubin Mehta who will conduct a fantastic concert with the “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” Orchestra in the Villa Pallavicino courtyard, in-front of the museum dedicated to Renata Tebaldi.
The following pieces will be performed:
– Symphony from “La Forza del Destino” / G. Verdi
– 6th Symphony / P. I. Tchaikovsky
– Prelude and “Morte di Isolda”, from “Tristano e Isolda” / R. Wagner
Below is the complete programme:
5:00 pm Departure from Milano, Piazzale Loreto, Coin department store
6:30 pm Dinner at Trattoria del Sole, Busseto
8:00 pm Award Ceremony for Master Z. Metha
8:30 pm Concert(in case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli)
10.00 pm – Meeting at the bus for the transfer back to Milano
