Teatro Coccia in Novara

Considered a prelude to the Teatro Alla Scala, as it witnessed the debut of some of the greatest tenors and sopranos in the world, such as Melis, Melandri, Scuderi, Dessi and Mazzola Gavazzeni as well as the most famous orchestra conductors, including Guido Cantelli and Riccardo Muti. Teatro Coccia was inaugurated in 1888 by Arturo Toscanini.
