The most precious treasures in the fashion district are not displayed in the shop windows but rather are encased in far more elegant coffers: rococo churches and elegant courtyards. Starting out from the Scala Opera House, we will discover a lapis lazuli altar in the church of San Francesco di Paola … and a secret passageway to Via Montenapoleone. A neo-Renaissance style palace will greet us there: designed by the brothers Bagatti Valsecchi, it preserves remarkable collections of armoury, ceramics and paintings.

Duration: half day or full day including a visit to the Poldi Pezzoli house museum in the afternoon.
